Blade is a rink-born academy for skaters who want to go faster — from first-time racers to athletes chasing national qualifying times. Real coaching. Real ice. Real splits.
Four phases.
One faster skater.

The stride that starts everything.
Before speed comes mechanics. We rebuild your push from the hip socket, optimizing the glide phase to eliminate wasted energy. Most skaters gain 1.8 seconds on 400m without touching their fitness.

Where races are won and lost.
The inner turn is where 80% of time is dropped. We drill the crossover sequence, lean angle, and pre-lean entry until the corner is automatic — so your brain is free to race.

Draft smart. Finish first.
Pack racing is chess at 38 mph. We teach positioning, drafting windows, breakaway timing, and how to read three skaters simultaneously — skills that separate medal finishes from also-rans.

Race before you race.
Full-simulation sessions replicate regional qualifier conditions — same start protocol, same lap count, same coaching radio. We record every split so you leave with a tactical race plan, not just a time.
Three tracks.
Your lane.

Chase the qualifying time.
Junior Racer
Structured periodization for athletes with a regional or national target. We map your current splits against qualifying standards and build a 12-week plan to close the gap. Includes race simulation, video review, and parent briefings.

Spoken mid-breath.
“First time I hit 28-flat, I thought the clock was broken. It wasn't.”

“I started at 47. Blade didn't treat me like a beginner. They treated me like an athlete who hadn't found the right coach yet.”
“My daughter went from missing regionals by 1.2 seconds to making the state team. The cornering work alone was worth every 5 a.m. drive.”

ice time.
Sessions run Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Ice is cold. Spots are limited. The oval doesn't wait.
